•  Tips for the maintenance of your bronze gong ( Tam Tam, Wind / Feng ) among others.

  •  A soft cotton or microfibre cloth is perfect for maintaining the gong. Before, during and after each use. No chemicals or natural detergents.

  • Keeping the gong covered if it is not going to be used for a period of time will prevent dust from accumulating unseen.

  • In case of keeping it inside the case, never close the zip so that the weather or humidity can accumulate inside and affect the sound of the gong with air oxidation in the years to come.

  • Check the rope annually, as the weight and the swinging of the gong when it is used. It could become damaged and in years to come break or loosen the knot.

  • If it is located near the sea, often or temporarily. The gong should be cleaned regularly to avoid salty humidity and damage to the gong.

  • Gongs of this metal quality can be repaired very easily on the aesthetic (visual) side.

  • Our gongs have a thin, medium and thick wall thickness, depending on the type of gong, and the minimum millimetre wall thickness makes tuning very difficult. It is almost impossible to tune both fundamental notes and harmonics.

  • We have an advisory service not only for sales but also for maintenance and technical issues.
